Prepare to be illuminated! Building a site not only helps people find you, it might help you find yourself. Giving your business a clear direction and a beautiful feel is what I'm all about. After years in the business, I know what to ask. Your honest answers will produce the site and the business you never thought you could have, but always wanted. Fill out the Questionnaire.Next we’ll talk about your copy. Need help finding your voice? The right words will bring the people to you. We all know by now: Content is king.
Next we map out your site, and draft an agreement for the project (including an accurate price appraisal for all the services I will cover for you, and the scope of the project.) This will answer how much, how long, and what your limits are before we begin. So that the only surprises are how great your site looks and feels, not how much it took out of you.

Your site design looks good, and it feels good, too... Every pixel has a purpose behind its placement.
Beauty is in the details....Your site will be easy to use as well as easy on the eyes. Whether you have a social websites, a web app, or a small business site, UI/UX is key so that actions you want people to take are completely natural and intuitive.
In the beauty phase we start with pencil on paper, discovering all of our puzzle pieces and how we want to put them together. What is most important? Where does the nav go? How do we lay out the elements to reach your goals? I figure it out for you, and you provide feedback. This dialogue is our foundation so the design can be built around making your content beautiful, individual, and easily communicated - - navigated towards the desired user actions.
Then this sketch is transformed into a graphical Photoshop “Comp” (a static, non-functional graphic representation of your site BEFORE code / development.) I always design to a grid outline to ensure your site is perfectly centered, spaced and lined up-- which brings order, readability, and professional polish. When I’m thru I give a detailed presentation and we tweak it.

Smart sites are coded to be crawled. It also must be be built smart and sturdy enough so that I can hand it over to you for updates after I'm done...saving you tons of money.

In this last step, I take the artistic design all the way to a leanly coded site up to the very latest web standards. This means more people across more browsers see you site as intended and can read everything and operate everything. Thank me later.
take it even further by engineering it to either a custom modified Wordpress or a custom content management system (CMS) that's simple to use and stripped down to the essentials you will be needing. Believe me when I tell you that less is more. This way, I can easily teach you how to update your site yourself. The proof of a good site is that it can stand on its own with a little help from its owner, without the developer hovering for eternity. (But of course...I'm always there if you need me.)
